Reading Lab Montaukett Learning
Resource Center 227
Students required to take any preparatory reading course (RE09, RE10, EF01, or EF02) must also take the corresponding weekly 50-minute reading lab, RELA or RELB, as a co-requisite. Students must successfully complete both lab and classroom components of the reading course in order to receive a “S” (satisfactory grade) for the semester.
In the Lab, students will work at their own pace to independently (and with assistance, when needed) complete various assignments designed to strengthen reading comprehension and improve vocabulary. Assignments involve both working with software programs and using print-based texts.
ALL students are required to have an SCCC Student ID card in order to access the Lab.
Classroom consists of 15 Gateway PC computer systems.
The following printers are connected to each computer system.
