The Purpose:
The Long Island Manufacturing Symposium will be an opportunity for Long Island manufacturers to showcase their company’s products and expertise for many groups attending the Symposium. This is an opportunity to show everyone the talent and skill Long Island has in manufacturing as well as demonstrate and highlight the strength of Long Island's supply chain and how integrated we are as a region. This event will be an opportunity for B2B networking and potentially developing new business partnerships. As well, many different groups will be attending the event including, federal, state and local elected officials, workforce development personnel, students looking for career opportunities and industry professionals looking for business opportunities. This event will focus on the industry diversity that exists among the manufacturing community as shown in the industry cluster diagram below.
