SCCC Distance Education Department Information For Blended / Hybrid Courses

	INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS TAKING BLENDED/HYBRID COURSES Please follow these instructions to gain access to your course(s):
	MAKE SURE THAT YOU SIGN ONTO THE ONLINE PORTION OF YOUR CLASS DURING THE FIRST WEEK OF CLASSES OR YOU RISK BEING LOCKED OUT AND POSSIBLY BEING WITHDRAWN FROM THE CLASS.
	Things you need to get started: Your Suffolk County Community College Schedule Your Name as it appears on your schedule (don't use your nickname, maiden name, shortened names etc, as the computer does not understand this and will drop you from the class) Course Section Numbers. This is very important, as you have to enter the correct section number and campus. Example, S8806 is not the same as W8806. If you put in the wrong section number, it is the same as walking into the wrong classroom. Sign on and get started on the web: Go to: www.sln.suny.edu/coursespace Click on the tab that says "Students" and follow the directions. Make sure that you use your Name as it appears on your SCCC schedule. Make sure that you pick the correct section number.
