Early College Program
The Suffolk County Community College (SCCC) - Early College Program (ECP) is an opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to earn college credits while experiencing some of the nuances of the college life. Students enroll in college classes, interact with college faculty and staff, and can potentially earn several transfer credits by the time they complete high school. Since its inception in 2005, over 200 students have participated in the program, many of who have gone on notable two and four-year institutions, including SCCC.

All courses are taught by college professors and students are integrated into classes with college-students. Each program participant is assigned an ECP advisor or counselor. With their guidance, students select courses from the general education program or take a sequence of courses in a particular curriculum.
