The SCCC Creative Writing Festival is a six-day event held on the three campuses of Suffolk County Community College in April of every year. The festival brings together professional writers as well as teachers and students from SCCC and other colleges and universities across our area for a celebration of creative writing. Attendance at the festival is free for all undergraduate students, and to SCCC faculty, staff, and administration.

THE SCCC CREATIVE WRITING AWARDS FOR COLLEGE WRITERS
The SCCC Creative Writing Festival celebrates notable student writers through the SCCC Creative Writing Awards for College Writers. There will be prize money and online publication for winners in four genres:
