Dual Enrollment at SCCC

Our Excelsior Program is a dual enrollment program that allows high school students to enroll in our college courses while still working toward high school graduation. College credits earned in the Excelsior Program can be applied toward high school and college graduation and can be transferred to other colleges and universities. Education provides the pathway toward building strong families, vibrant communities and skilled workers. As a comprehensive community college, SCCC sees its primary purpose as providing access to high quality, cost-effective educational experiences that are designed to improve your career prospects and enhance the quality of life here on Long Island.
