Professor Maureen G. Bybee, LCSW-R, ACSW
Program Coordinator
Professor Bybee has provided leadership to the program for more than twenty years.  She holds a B.S. in Psychology and an M. S.W. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.  Prior to becoming a full-time instructor, she worked for more than 15 years in various social work arenas including crisis intervention, suicide prevention, medical social work, school social work and a private psychotherapy practice.  She continues to be excited about teaching and sharing the educational journey with students. She is the primary instructor for our online and field work courses.

Adjunct Assistant Professor Meryl Cassidy, LMSW, ACSW
Professor Cassidy has taught HUS 205: Theory and Methods of Helping in the Human Services for many years.  She brings a wealth of experience from her work with Family Service League, the Suffolk Probation Department, as a private consultant/trainer and now as Executive Director of Response of Suffolk County.
