Students complete a 320-hour internship over their final fall and spring semesters in the program. The internship is an exceptional opportunity to apply the skills and theory learned in the classroom in a real-world setting. Students work directly with clients under the watchful and supportive mentorship of a NYS Licensed Master Social Worker at a variety of human service agencies in Suffolk County. These agencies serve the full spectrum of populations in need.
