The New York State Presidential Scholarship Application Process
Choosing a limited group of New York State Presidential Scholarship recipients out of our many qualified applicants is very difficult task; therefore, the process is long and has many steps. The dates provided below serve as a general outline of our process, and are subject to change.
February 13, 2017:
Applications undergo a preliminary rewview to ensure that all documents have been submitted, and that all eligibility requirements have been met.
March 14, 2017:
Applications have been reviewed by select faculty and staff at the campus level.
April 5, 2017:
Applications have been personally reviewed by Dr. McKay.
April 19, 2017:
Applications have been reviewed by select faculty and staff at the NYSPS Partner Schools.
Students will be notified of any scholarship offers.
May 1, 2017:
Students must officially accept or decline any scholarship offers.
