Long Island University has been offering undergraduate and graduate programs to residents of Suffolk County, Long Island since 1959. The Brentwood Campus serves a total enrollment of nearly 1,000 graduate, undergraduate and non-credit students. We are located on 172 acres of tree-lined property with plenty of parking. Undergraduate studies are designed entirely for transfer students like you. We do not admit freshmen. All classes are scheduled after 5:00 p.m. and are small and personalized.
The Brentwood Campus of Long Island University offers two (2) full-tuition Stay on Long Island Scholarships, intended for a graduate of SCCC. We may also offer partial tuition scholarships to others who are recommended by Dr. McKay. The partial tuition scholarships are significant; they can be as high as $20,000 per year. These scholarships apply to fall and spring tuition and require that students take at least twelve credits each semester. The scholarships are renewable for up to three years by maintaining a 3.5 cumulative average.
NOTE: Applying for the Stay on Long Island Scholarship is NOT an application to the college. You must apply for transfer admission separately. You can do that online by clicking on the Online Application link.
Scholarships available for May 2013 graduates enrolling for Fall 2013:
- Two full tuition SoLII awards!
- One for the B.S. in Nursing program (RNs Only)
- One for the B.A. in Criminal Justice program
- Additional partial tuition SoLII awards up to $20,000!
Students must apply for transfer admission to the college by Friday, February 22, 2013 to be eligible for the SoLII scholarship.
