Program Requirements

 


Students who are at least 18 years old by commencement of travel with a G.P.A. of 2.5 or better are eligible to participate in the Study Abroad programs.   A program application (link to application below) is submitted to the Office of General Education, with a non-refundable application fee.*                                                                                            


 Upon review, the student will be advised of his/her acceptance to the program.


*$200.00 fee is refundable only if program is cancelled, or student is not accepted.

Study Abroad Scholarship Information

 

A $1000 scholarship may be awarded for each Study Abroad program.  The scholarship is offered to make international travel more affordable to our students.

 

Eligibility: All students who have applied to participate in a Study Abroad program are eligible.  A personal statement that addresses the student's awareness of the global community must be submitted.  A 3.5 GPA is required.  Financial need may be a consideration, but is not a requirement.  The packet, along with two faculty references, must be submitted upon receipt of Fall semester grades by noon on April 5, 2013.  Scholarship will be awarded on May 1,2013.
